Bookkeeper

Purpose of the role:

Maintain client accounting and prepare financial statements for each Company of the client.

  • Reports to: Lead Bookkeeper
  • Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Manage the customers account weekly or monthly depending on services provided
  • Reconcile customers accounts monthly with statements
  • Pull together work papers monthly
  • Adhere to due dates set by client managers
  • Prepare all required tax forms as specified by client industry
  • Communicate with client managers or clients on issues or needed information
  • Prepare payroll and corresponding reports on assigned clients
  • Client consulting on various software programs
  • Client onboarding of new clients assigned to you
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Experience, Skills & Strengths

  • 2 years of office/ bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Ability to write professional emails
  • Good customer service skills

Academic, Certifications & Trade Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED required
  • Accounting/ Finance degree preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • QuickBooks® Online experience preferred
