Lance Bodeen in color

Lance and his wife, Rachel, moved to Alaska in December 2000, so that Rachel could serve her commitment to the US Air Force. Lance began his professional career in Alaska at this time, and he and his wife are proud to call this awesome state, home. Lance joined Rulien + Associates, LLC in 2002 and obtained his CPA license in 2003. He provides services in the areas of tax, accounting, and consulting for a broad range of professional service providers as well as concentrating on construction contractors and small business entities. Lance graduated as a Johnnie from St. John’s University (MN) in 1998 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and earned the AICPA’s Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. Lance has served as Council Member to the AICPA, past president of the Alaska Society of CPAs (AKCPA) and currently serves on various committees for the AKCPA. In addition to his profession, Lance is passionate about his community and volunteers his time locally on a regular basis. When he is not at work, Lance can be found in the Eagle River and Anchorage Bowl either coaching or cheering on his kids. He loves fishing with his family and spending time in the mountains glassing for animals and picking berries. It is not unlikely to receive an out of office reply in the summer and fall months of the year, for it is Alaska.
